To change Alexa Privacy Settings using your Echo device, say “What are my privacy settings?” or “Update my privacy settings.”
To update your privacy settings through the Alexa app:
- Open the Alexa app
. - Open More
. - Select Alexa Privacy.
- Select Manage Your Alexa Data.
- Select the setting that you want to update.
- Under Voice Recordings, select “Choose how long to save recordings”.
- Options include: Don’t save, 3 months, 18 months, or Until I delete them.
