All children are having a great time at Glan Llyn, they have slept well having been canoeing and orienteering yesterday. They will be raft building, climbing, doing archery today and will have a disco tonight.

UPDATE ON THE URDD DANCE ON THE 9th MARCH. THE COMPETITION WILL START AT 5.30pm.

BASED ON THE CURRENT FORECAST SCHOOL WILL BE OPEN AS NORMAL ON MONDAY 5th MARCH.
WE HAVE RECEIVED AN UPDATE, THAT BASED ON THE CURRENT WEATHER CONDITIONS AND FORECAST GLAN LLYN IS GOING AHEAD, HOWEVER A FINAL RISK ASSESSMENT WILL BE COMPLETED ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON, IF ANYTHING CHANGES WE WILL UPDATE YOU ON THE WEBSITE.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU PACK PLENTY OF OLD CLOTHES THAT CAN BE WORN IN LAYERS WITH A REALLY WARM COAT, GLOVES, HAT AND UP TO £10 SPENDING MONEY ALONG WITH £2 FOR THE TRIP TO BALA.

SCHOOL IS CLOSED TODAY DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER.

The decision has been made to cancel Art Club after school on Thursday 1st March due to the potential weather.

 

Dear all,

I am aware that some of you have concerns regarding the weather forecast for this the week and in particular for Saturday with all our EIsteddfod’s being held.  As I am sure you can appreciate canceling / postponing an Eisteddfod is not an easy decision to make as it has taken several months of planning and to change the date would cause all sorts of problems i.e. judges, volunteers, venues etc.  Therefore it has been decided that no decision to cancel / postpone any Eisteddfod will be done until the last minute to ensure we make the correct decision.
