Flintshire County Council have asked us to send out the information below today.This is part of Ysgol Lixwm’s future development.

Flintshire County Council has today published Consultation Documents for the proposal for the re-designation of Lixwm Community Primary School to a Voluntary Aided Church in Wales School from 1 September 2020 has published on the Flintshire County Council website.  Please see link below:

The Consultation period will run from 26 September 2019 to 11 November 2019.

 

The School Council are arranging and running our McMillan Coffee Morning on Friday the 27th September 2019 from 9.30 until 11am.

Please support us by donating cakes on Thursday the 26th September and we look forward to welcoming you on Friday morning.

BBC1’s hit show ‘Eat Well For Less?’ is BACK and looking for households to take part!

Eat Well For Less? is on the hunt for families / households looking to save money on their food shop!

Is the cost of your weekly food shop spiralling out of control?

The Fobs meeting has been postponed from 18th September to the 25th September 2019.

Best Kept Communities Competition.
We are delighted to announce that Ysgol Brynffordd has been awarded First Prize in the School’s category of the Best Kept Communities Competition.
A huge thank you to pupils, staff, parent’s and community members for all of their hard work. What an achievement!!!

 

Both Cricket Club and Eco-Club for Thursday have been cancelled today due to circumstances beyond schools control.

The rounders festival this afternoon has been postponed due to the weather and slippy surface. New date to be confirmed.

The Year one and two children have just left Llandudno and are on their way back to school after having had a fantastic day!
