Class 3 – Brynford Euros Football Tournament Information
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Euros 2021 Tournament and I thought it would be lovely if we could have our very own Brynford Euros Tournament. This was due to take place on Monday 14th June but will now take place on Tuesday 15th June.
The pupils have been put into teams and will be representing either Wales, England, France or Portugal. We even have some pupils who have opted out of playing but would like to be an official or referee.
To get into the spirit we have agreed that the pupils can come into school on Tuesday in the colours of the team they are representing. The agreed colours are:
- Wales – Red
- England – White
- France – Blue
- Portugal – Green
Please don’t feel the need to purchase any clothes. The pupils may wear a suitable top in the colour for their team. The girls may wear black leggings or shorts and the boys can wear shorts to match the colour of their team, or black shorts/tracksuit bottoms. I can also provide bibs if there are any issues.
Please can you ensure that pupils have sun cream applied on the morning of the tournament and plenty of drinks for the day.
Regards,
Mrs Roberts

News: Walking and Cycling in Flintshire
Please see the information below and participate if possible please.
As you may already be aware, we are aiming to make journeys on foot or by cycle across Flintshire easier and safer for everyone, particularly those who don’t currently walk or cycle often and people who use mobility aids. So over the coming month we will be undertaking an online consultation to give people the opportunity to get involved and we want to encourage as many people across Flintshire as possible to engage in this. It is important that people share their ideas with us because we use the ATNM to guide our work to improve walking and cycling within the county.
So that we can collect people’s ideas and suggestions we have developed an interactive map that enables people to pinpoint places across the county and leave comments and feedback. This will help us make sure that the routes built for walking and cycling work for the whole community. The online map is open for comments to be added until 1 July 2021 so further information and the chance to leave feedback and add comments go tohttps://flintshire.commonplace.is/
Foundation Phase: Resources
Hello!
If you have any clear water/squash/pop bottles and kitchen roll tubes at home could you please bring them in by Thursday?
Also, if you have any spare plastic containers with lids e.g butter/margarine/takeaway containers we would also be thankful for them.
Please can I ask that any bottles or containers are washed before they come into school?
These are to use to make some sea instruments.
Thank you very much 🙂
