Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all keeping safe and well.
From your messages I can see lots of you are looking forward to your “check in and catch up” sessions in the coming weeks. It will be so lovely to see you. We have been busy sorting out school and doing as much as we can to make sure everyone keeps as safe as possible.
I am overwhelmed by the amount of work you are all doing, both with the Purple Mash on line tasks and all the other activities you are doing too. All of these lovely activities help to keep you busy during our time away from school. I particularly like the garden scenes you are sending and also the book/film reviews too, we can share these ideas with our friends too. Well done everyone.
There are lots more 2do’s set for you and remember to press “send” when you have finished them ready for me to check. Thank you.
When we are back in school, we will be sharing our ideas and catching up on what we have all been busy doing, hopefully sharing some everlasting memories too.
The weather forecast looks to be super this week, so remember, if you are outdoors apply your sun protection to help you stay safe.
Should you need to know any further information or would just like to message me to let me know how you are getting on or what you have been busy doing, drop me a message and I will reply,
Well done everyone, you are all superstars,
Take care, Thank you, diolch,
From, Mrs Shickell

Class 3: Home Learning update
Good morning Class 3,
Thank you once again for your continued hard work
completing the home learning activities, you are all
doing a fantastic job!
It is just one more week now before school opens
for your check in and catch up sessions. The staff
and my-self are all looking forward to your return
and have been busy preparing school. Your parents
have received a booklet about changes and routines
to expect when you return to school, if you can, try
to have a look before your check in and catch up
sessions.
I have set more activities on Purple Mash for you
this week, please look daily and try to complete as
many as possible. Read the descriptions carefully
for each task as I have added extra information to
help you complete them.
Thank you to everyone who has started their home
learning activities, based on what lives in the
Rainforest. I have attached a copy of the activities
set last week for you to review again. Please try to
complete by Friday and continue logging your activity
on the Get Set website, for the Travel to Tokyo
Challenge.
If you have any questions or require support
please send me an email via Purple Mash or Hwb.
Take Care and Stay Safe!
Regards,
Mrs Roberts

News: Headteacher update
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you are all keeping safe and well. I would just like to reassure you all that we are here for you and your children, and we are looking forward to seeing them soon.
Our staff have continued to do an amazing job in the hub over many weeks and this has allowed key worker children to access childcare provision through the term time and holidays. I can’t thank everyone enough for their continued support.
Provision for children accessing the hub will continue from Monday 22nd June but this will now be on our school site. On behalf of all staff and pupils, I would like to thank everyone at the Holywell Hub for looking after us all so well.
School is preparing for a partial return on the 29th June. Thank you to all staff for their hard work in preparing school. I will be sending out details early next week with regards to our catch up sessions for small groups of learners.
Please find attached our parent’s booklet which we hope you will find useful. This explains our protocols and organisation. Please share these with your child/children so they know what to expect when returning for their sessions. It is also imperative that we have ‘up to date’ medical information so please complete the medical form attached and return to [email protected] as soon as possible.
I would like to thank you as parents for your continued support with the children’s learning. We have been overwhelmed by the commitment and support for our distance learning programmes which will continue over the coming weeks.
We will get through this safely and together and we are all looking forward to seeing you again.
Stay safe.
Yours Sincerely,
Mrs R Critchell

News: CLASS 2 update
Hello Class 2,
I hope you are all keeping safe and well. It is lovely to hear you have been making some special memories whilst away from school.
I just want to say a MASSIVE WELL DONE to those children who have been busy working on the 2do’s on Purple Mash and for sending blogs to our Class blog page. I have sent blogs to the Class page also, and therefore, thank you to those who have replied….It is really super to know that you are keeping yourself busy. It is also great to read the comments you include with tasks that you complete as this helps me to evaluate your learning. So, THANK YOU very much for doing this.
I have set new tasks for you to work on , there are also new books for you to read and complete the activities based on the chapters…. from your messages I can see you enjoy these very much.
Please remember to ‘Log On’ as often as you can to have a look what is set for you as some of the tasks, I will be closing soon and therefore, there won’t be any of these saved in your folders. So, please have a look and have a go at some of the tasks on there…. there are quite a few now!
Anyway Class 2, stay safe and well and should you need any further information or just to say hello, drop me a message and I will get back to you,
Thank you for your hard work,
Take care, From, Mrs Shickell.
