A polite reminder.
There is show practice for all junior children after school on Wednesday 7th December until 4pm. 
Please could we encourage you to try and attend this session as it’s very nearly the show and we are putting the finishing touches to it!

Clarification:  The Brynford lights switch on is on Friday the 9^th December 2022.  The sign on the Village Green says the 2^nd Friday in December. It will be lovely to see the children singing there.

Apologies: Typing error on the original letter, the Christmas show starts at 1.30pm on Tuesday 20^th December 2022 with the doors opening at 1.15pm.

World Cup own cloths day is tomorrow Tuesday 29^th not Wednesday.

Please note some unavoidable date changes:
The School Christmas Fayre will now be held 5.30pm until 6.30pm on Wednesday 14^th December.
The Christmas Shows will now be held: Tuesday 20^th December 1.30pm Afternoon Christmas Show Wednesday 21^st December 6pm Evening Christmas Show.
Letters regarding tickets to see Santa and tickets to see the Christmas Show will be sent out before the end of this week.
The Carol Service in the Church will not proceed.

Dear Parent/Carer

We have an opportunity to elect a new parent governor to join the friendly team of Governors at our school. You will need to attend just six meetings per year held on a Monday starting at 6.30 p.m. and finishing by no later than 8.30 p.m. Parent Governors bring a particular and valuable insight to the Governing Body as they have a child at the school. Initially you will have the support of a “Buddy” who is someone you can call on for advice and to ask what you may think of as the “silly” question.

The work is interesting and all governors seek the best education for the children at our school. As a governor you will be involved in agreeing the educational priorities for the school, discussing budgets and much more. Governors play an essential part in the running of the school and importantly supporting the Headteacher. Hopefully you will find the work personally rewarding. In the future you may be invited to join one of the various sub committees.

We need a full team of Governors so please, seriously consider putting your name forward for election. Application forms will be sent out on Monday 28^th November 2022.
